Description

Pelco FMCI-PG2 Dual-Port Gigabit Fiber Converter

The Pelco FMCI-PG2 is a compact dual-channel Gigabit Ethernet fiber media converter designed to consolidate two fiber-to-copper conversions in a single chassis. With two independent SFP fiber ports and two RJ45 copper ports, this accessory delivers flexible connectivity for Pelco camera systems in field enclosures and IDF closets where multiple fiber uplinks converge.

Key Features

  • Dual-channel Gigabit Ethernet conversion with independent channel operation
  • Two SFP fiber ports and two RJ45 copper ports in compact form factor
  • Support for different fiber types, wavelengths, and distances per port via SFP transceiver selection
  • Zero configuration required—plug-and-play deployment
  • NDAA Section 889 compliant for government and regulated installations
  • 1-year manufacturer warranty

Technical Highlights

Each channel operates independently, allowing you to deploy mixed fiber and wavelength configurations across both ports without reconfiguration. The modular SFP transceiver design enables adaptation to your existing fiber plant and distance requirements. This converter is optimized for professional surveillance installations where redundancy and multi-fiber connectivity are essential.

Applications

Ideal for enterprise security deployments, government facilities, and industrial surveillance environments requiring robust fiber-to-Ethernet conversion. Commonly deployed in network closets, field equipment enclosures, and distributed camera installations where fiber uplinks must be consolidated and converted to copper for Pelco camera system integration.

Note: SFP transceivers are ordered separately. Confirm transceiver compatibility with the converter and your installed fiber infrastructure. For single-channel needs, consider the FMCI-PG1 or FMCI-PG1M. For dual-channel with PoE output, pair two FMCI-PG1POE units. Fast Ethernet dual-channel users may prefer the FMCI-PF2.
